In case you missed the recent Zoom call presentation regarding the Nissequogue River State Park Master Plan, given by NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation, below are links to view the information packet, watch the presentation, and to participate in a survey. Interested parties have until February 17 to fill out the Recreational Needs Assessment survey.

Public Zoom Call to Discuss NRSP Master Plan Process
The NYS Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation will be holding a virtual Zoom meeting to discuss the Nissequogue River State Park Master Plan. During the meeting, attendees will meet the project’s team and learn about the scope and goals of the forthcoming Master Plan. Opportunities for getting involved in planning the future of Nissequogue River State Park will also be discussed.
Members of the public are invited to attend. The meeting will include a presentation followed by Q&A.

Smithtown Draft Comprehensive Plan
The Town of Smithtown has released its Draft Comprehensive  Plan. This document will guide future land use decisions, development projects, and infrastructure investment throughout the Town.
